Celebrate Open Education Week 2019 with us

Founded in 2013 by the Open Education Consortium, the goal of Open Education Week is to raise awareness and showcase impact of open education on teaching and learning worldwide. Open Education Week has become one the most foremost global events recognising high achievement and excellence in open education.

This is a week-long event that features the amazing work of individuals, teams, associations, and institutions in championing the importance of open education initiatives worldwide. The week includes 100s of live, face-to-face events, webinars, and projects and resources for academics, learning design staff, librarians, IT staff and students to engage with the richness of what open education offers to those who wish to gain access to freely available educational resources and educational experiences.

This week the uImagine team is hosting a series of blog posts highlighting open initiatives, issues, and ideas that are on the radar of some of Charles Sturt University’s community.

Please join us and share this professional learning experience with your colleagues. We invite feedback and comments to each blog posts. Let’s make this a conversation about institutions embracing open as part of their higher education strategy.
